KATIE GOT THE JOB!! It's a men and women's clothing store called River Island and she works Monday thru Friday from 9-1, so 25 hours a week at 8.65 euro an hour means we can get the apartment!!!!!!!! Still hoping to hear back from my lady because now I'll be here alone doing nothing all day haha but this is just the hugest relief you can possibly imagine. 'Tanks a mil' for all the good thoughts!!
(that's another Irish saying, you can figure it out :) )

ReplyDeleteI hate to say this, but your budget sounds horrible! It's not even 10:30am yet and I'm sure I've had way more that 10 dollars worth of food. Also, I'm trying to figure out how on such a tight budget you get your recommended daily intake of chocolate! This is worrying me. Get the apartment and give me the address so I can send you some!

Ok so I already commented for the day... but as a continuation from what I said above...
ReplyDeleteSo I'm at work and I just spent 4 hours on my feet filing charts and getting charts ready and stuff and I had a HUGE craving for chocolate. So I went to the vending machines and I put money in for a Twix bar and it got stuck! But I reeeally wanted it, so I put more money in for another one. I got the first one, but the second one got caught too!! So I was thinking that I didn't want to just give someone a free Twix...so I put the money in for a THIRD Twix bar. So I got the second one, BUT MY THIRD ONE GOT STUCK TOO!!! I just left it there hanging... (after banging on the machine for a solid two minutes....)
